I want to play a bard sometime soon and I already had a miniature I am very fond of to represent my bard on the battlefield. However, I felt it needed some touching up to clean up some obscured details and fix some previous mistakes. Emeryl becomes Gildeas – the Bagpiping Bard!

Painting with washes – Part 2 (Wrath of Ashardalon duergar minis)

With the buzz around contrast paints and what they are capable of, I decided to revisit how well washes work when painting over a white surface. Hopefully this will serve as a nice comparison point once I am able to get my hands on some more contrrast paints.
